Turkish rebar exports increased by 19.4% in January-September 2025

In September of this year, the volume of rebar exports from Turkey increased by 10.7 percent year-on-year and by 20.2 percent month-on-month to 371,978 metric tons, according to data provided by the Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK). The value of these exports amounted to $199.23 million, an increase of 3% year-on-year and 19.0% month-on-month.

In the period from January to September, rebar exports from Turkey totaled 3.04 million tons, an increase of 19.4 percent, while the value of these exports increased by 12.1 percent to $1.67 billion, year-on-year.

Rebar exports from Turkey - over the past 12 months

In the first nine months of this year, Turkey exported 496,879 tons of rebar to Yemen, which is nine percent more than last year, while Yemen is Turkey is the leading export destination, ahead of Romania, which received 269,506 tons, which is 36.9 percent more in this period. Romania is followed by Albania with 181,335 tons, which is 11.2 percent more than last year.
