In October, exports of finished steel from China totaled 9.782 million tons, down 6.5 percent from the previous month, although down 12.5 percent year-on-year.
In October, China's finished steel imports totaled 503,000 tons, down 8.2 percent month-on-month and 6.2 percent year-on-year. In the first ten months of this year, imports of finished steel to China amounted to 5,041 million tons, which is 11.9 percent less than last year.
Trade disagreements in the global market had a negative impact on China's steel exports in October.
