According to data received from the Indian Ports Association (IPA) on Friday, November 7, coking coal imports into India through all major ports in the country were provisionally estimated at 36.06 million tonnes between April and October 2025 financial year, up eight percent year-on-year.
According to SteelOrbis calculations, coking coal shipments in country in October 2025 was 5.571 million tons, up from 4.69 million tons in September.
According to IPA data, the total volume of iron ore, including pellets, processed by all major ports in April-October 2025 was provisionally estimated at 26.99 million tons, down seven percent year-on-year.
