The value of French steel exports decreased by 4.5% in January-August 2025

According to statistics published by the French Ministry of Economy, Finance and Industry, in January-August of this year, the main exports of steel products and ferroalloys to France amounted to € 6.3 billion, a decrease of 4.5% year-on-year.

During the specified period, France exported € 841.22 million of steel pipes and tubes - by 5%, € 290.01 million of cold-rolled steel bars - by 0.6%, € 429.76 million of cold-rolled steel strips - by 14.8%, € 191.39 million of cold-rolled wire - by 16.1%, and € 599.78 million of metal structures and parts - by 1.5% compared to the same period in 2024.
