India's JSW Steel expects consolidated crude steel production to grow by 9% in October 2025

In October 2025, Indian JSW Steel Limited achieved consolidated steel production of 2.495 million tons, which is nine percent more than in the corresponding month of the previous year, the company said in a statement released on Tuesday, November 11.

India's production was 2.412 million tons, up 10 percent, while JSW Steel Ohio, USA, produced 83,000 tons, up one percent from last year.Capacity utilization in India was 83 percent, indicating a decrease due to the shutdown of Blast furnace 3 (BF3) in Vijayanagar to upgrade capacity to 4.5 million tons per year from 3.0 million tons per year, the company said.

The BF3 is expected to resume production in February 2026.
