According to the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers (CAAM), in the first ten months of this year, the production and sales of passenger cars in China were 24.237 million units and 24.209 million units, an increase of 13.5 percent and 12.9 percent year on year, respectively.
In October alone, the production and sales of passenger cars in China were 2.995 million units and 2.961 million units, up 3.3% and 3.6% month-on-month, up 10.7% and 7.5% year-on-year, respectively
