Bullion imports to Turkey increased by 50.8 percent in January-September 2025

According to preliminary data provided by the Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK), in September of this year, imports of blanks and blooms to Turkey amounted to 345,173 metric tons, which is 8.7 percent less than in August and 8.5 percent more year-on-year. Meanwhile, revenue from these imports totaled $173.30 million, down 7.7% from the previous month and 1% year-on-year.

In the period from January to September, the import of blanks and blooms to Turkey amounted to 3.25 million tons, which is 50.8% more, while the value of these imports increased by 33.3% to $1.62 billion year-on-year.

During this period, Malaysia was the largest source of imports of blanks and flowers to Turkey, which supplied 753,469 tons, which is 97 percent more than last year. Malaysia is followed by Russia with 699,497 tons, which is 56.1 percent more, and China with 631,298 tons.
