Ş. (IDC) has announced financial and operating results for the first nine months of 2025.
During the period, the company reported a net loss of 621.70 million Turkish liras ($14.72 million), compared with a net loss of 4.50 billion Turkish liras in the first nine months of 2024, while its sales revenue increased 7.5 percent year-on-year to 45.98 billion Turkish liras ($1.09 billion). In addition, IDC recorded an operating profit of 393.30 million Turkish liras ($9.31 million), compared with an operating loss of 3.93 billion Turkish liras in the same period of the previous year.
In January-September of this year, the company's steel ingot production increased by 19.0 percent to 1.63 million tons, while rebar production totaled 786,408 tons, an increase of eight percent compared to the same period last year. In addition, IDC's contract partners also produced 301,212 tons of rebar during the specified period, with an annual increase of seven percent. In the specified period, the company produced 229,804 tons of steel profiles, which is seven percent more than in the previous year.
In the first nine months, IDC's finished steel sales increased by six percent to 1.28 million tons, while export sales increased by 103.0 percent to 439,763 tons, both year-on-year and year-on-year.
