Between January and October this year, China's total fixed asset investment (FAI) (excluding rural households) was 40.8914 trillion yuan (US$5.8 trillion), down 1.7 percent from last year, China's National Bureau of Statistics (NBS) announced.
In the first ten months, China's overall infrastructure FAI fell 0.1 percent in on an annual basis. Fixed asset investment in China's mining and manufacturing sectors increased by 3.8 percent and 2.7 percent year-on-year, respectively, during the period.
In October alone, China's fixed asset investment (FAI) decreased by 1.62 percent month-on-month.
