Danieli plans that the new cutting lines will include one unit designed for cutting workpieces, equipped with two machines, and the other for cutting the pipe layer. Both will be fully integrated into the mill's production line with mandrel retention. This line is designed for the annual production of more than 800,000 tons of seamless pipes with diameters from 323.8 mm to 610 mm with a wall thickness of up to 65 mm.
The Chinese company Hengyang Valin commissioned Danieli to upgrade the capacity of seamless pipes
Italian manufacturer Danieli Technologies has announced that Chinese pipe manufacturer Hengyang Valin has commissioned it to expand its seamless pipe capabilities by supplying two SDM cutting lines for its new large-scale pipe production project in China. The facility, which is currently under construction, is expected to become the world's largest seamless pipe manufacturing plant upon completion. The launch of the new equipment is scheduled for 2026.
