In January-October 2025, car production in Turkey increased by 3.6 percent

In October of this year, car production in Turkey totaled 131,878 units, up 8.1 percent year-on-year and 6.9 percent month-on-month, according to monthly statistics released by the Turkish Automobile Manufacturers Association (OSD). In January-October, car production in Turkey amounted to 1,163,425 units, which is 3.6 percent more than a year earlier.

In this month, passenger car production totaled 79,879 units, down 6.2 percent, while commercial vehicle production totaled 51,999 units, up 41.0 percent year-on-year. In January-October of this year, the production of passenger cars amounted to 717,321 units, a decrease of 3.4 percent, and the production of commercial vehicles amounted to 446,104 units, an increase of 17.3 percent, compared to the same period in 2024.

The total capacity utilization of the Turkish automotive industry in October was 73.9 percent, while the figure was 65.6 percent. for the first 10 months of the year.
