Indian integrated steel producer Godavari Power and Ispat Limited (GPIL) achieved 1.34 million tons of iron ore pellet production in the first half (April-September) of fiscal year 2025-26, up 22 percent from the corresponding period of the previous fiscal year, according to a company statement on Tuesday, November 18.
The company reported total iron ore production of 1.29 million tons during this period, which is 22 percent more than last year. Nevertheless, GPIL reported that the production of billets amounted to 230,130 tons, which is four percent less than last year.
