Meanwhile, Pakistan's iron and steel imports totaled 422,526 tons in October, up 39.3 percent year-on-year and 15.3 percent from the previous month. Scrap metal imports to Pakistan increased by 4.2% in October 2025 compared to September
Pakistan's scrap metal imports in October this year totaled 381,991 tons, up 4.2 tons from September and up 64.1 percent year-on-year, according to data released by the Federal Bureau of Statistics of Pakistan (PFBS). The value of these imports in this month was $193.72 million, an increase of nine percent month-on-month and 15.3 percent year-on-year.
