According to the Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK), in October this year, the number of new registrations of passenger cars in Turkey decreased by 9.1 percent month-on-month and by 14.7 percent year-on-year to 178,481 units.
A total of 87,624 new passenger cars were registered in October, which is 8.9 percent more than in September and up by 17.4 percent. year after year. Passenger vehicles accounted for 49.1 percent of total new vehicle registrations for the month.
On the other hand, new small truck registrations in October totaled 20,338 units, up 18.3 percent month-over-month and 19.0 percent year-over-year. Small truck registrations accounted for 11.4 percent of total new registrations in that month
