The new mill includes two high-performance three-roll units that can work together or independently. This dual-system installation significantly increases operational flexibility, enabling GMH Gruppe to meet diverse customer requirements, reducing lead times and improving supply reliability.
Extended diameter range and production capabilities
One of the company's most notable innovations is its ability to produce steel in a wide range of diameters, from less than 35 mm to more than 100 mm. Currently, the installation covers sizes from 20 mm to 130 mm, and technical specifications allow expansion to 142 mm.
GMH Gruppe emphasized that the new rolling mill will strengthen supplies to key industries, including automotive, electric mobility, energy, construction and mechanical engineering.
