Australia tops the list with a total market capitalization of its largest mining companies of $353 billion. The country is home to two of the world's largest mining companies: BHP and Rio Tinto. The United States, with a total mining company value of $228 billion, and China, with a total company value of $206 billion, occupy the third and fourth places, respectively.
