The plant is export-oriented, and the share of localization is 96%. Products are planned to be supplied to 52 countries, including Europe, Southeast Asia, North and South America.
The launch of the plant created about 800 permanent jobs, while approximately 1,500 specialists were involved in the construction phase.
The project is part of the Ekibastuz Development Plan until 2025 and is aimed at retaining a qualified workforce, introducing modern technologies, expanding environmentally friendly production and strengthening Kazakhstan’s position in global ferrosilicon market.
We would like to remind you that a new plant for the production of ferroalloys KazFerrolimited in the city of Ekibastuz recently began operating in Kazakhstan. The project was the first of three large industrial projects planned for implementation in the region. The total investment in construction amounted to 57.5 million, and the plant's capacity is estimated at approximately 60 thousand tons of products per year
