Alexander Popov served as Senior Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of Norilsk Nickel and was a member of the Board of Norilsk Nickel.
Previously, Alexander Popov headed the Bystrinsky GOK of Norilsk Nickel, headed the Olenegorsky GOK of Severstal and the Krasny Kotelshchik Mining and Processing Plant, part of Power Machines, and also held managerial positions in the Kuzbassugol and Vorkutaugol coal companies.
