Global stainless steel production increased by 2.3 percent in the third quarter of 2025

According to a preliminary report released by the World Stainless Steel Association, in the third quarter of this year, global crude stainless steel production decreased by 1.8 percent quarter-on-quarter to 16.07 million tons, although it increased by 2.3 percent year-on-year. Between January and September of this year, global stainless steel production increased by three percent year-on-year to 48.02 million tons.
