Total fixed asset investment (FAI) in China's transportation sector was 2.95 trillion yuan ($0.42 trillion) between January and October this year, remaining at a high level, as announced by China's Ministry of Transport (MOT).
During the period, FAI for road and waterway construction in China amounted to 2.0089 trillion yuan ($0.28 trillion) USA) and 176.12 billion yuan (24.8 billion US dollars), down 6.0 percent and 0.2 percent year on year, respectively.
