Strategic transition to commercial production
The agreement advances the Admiralty's strategy to transition Mariposa from the pilot stage to stable production. Despite its modest size compared to large manufacturers, the contract:
- provides a reliable revenue stream,
- maintains continuity of operations for the Chilean subsidiary,
- demonstrates the recognition of the MIO quality market,
- strengthens the Admiralty's ability to finance and scale production,
- officially establishes Trafigura as the initial commercial buyer.
The Admiralty also stressed that the deal could expand if the performance, quality and logistics remained unchanged.
Next steps for the Mariposa project
The company indicated that the shipments will be carried out in three shipments, each of which is subject to inspection and quality control.
Although the contract is limited to one year, it forms the basis for a potential multi-year expansion if logistics, cash flow and contract execution remain strong.
