According to statistics published by the French National Institute of Statistics and Economic Research (INSEE), French industrial producer prices remained stable month-on-month in October this year and fell by 0.8 percent year-on-year. Manufacturer prices in France fell 0.1 percent in October from September and rose 0.5 percent year-on-year.
In the month, prices for exported manufactured goods rose 0.1 percent and prices for exported transport equipment rose 0.4 percent, both month-on-month. On an annual basis, in October, prices for exported industrial products decreased by 0.8 percent, while prices for exported transport equipment remained stable.
At the same time, import prices for industrial products in France in October increased by 0.1 percent month-on-month and decreased by 0.8 percent year-on-year.
