Taiwan's CSC reports an operating loss for January-October 2025

China Steel Corporation (CSC), Taiwan's largest steelmaker, has announced preliminary financial results for the first 10 months of this year.

In October, the company's sales of carbon steel amounted to 611,915 tons, while in January-October, sales of carbon steel amounted to 6.17 million tons.

In January-October, CSC's operating revenue was NTD266.24 billion ($8.47 billion), down 11.8% year-on-year, while the company's operating loss was ntd4.59 billion ($146.26 million), compared with operating income of ntd944.49 million recorded in the same period last year.
