China's Ministry of Commerce (MOC) announced that the average prices of finished steel in China fluctuated within a limited range between December 29 and January 9 this year.
During this period, the average price of rebar remained stable, while the average prices of ordinary medium steel sheet and steel channel decreased by 0.2 percent weekly.
During the same period, the average prices of coking steel, thermal and smokeless lump coal decreased by 1.4 percent, 0.4 percent and 0.3 percent over the week, respectively.
