New car Registrations in South Korea to Grow by 16.7 percent in 2025

Last December, the number of new car registrations in South Korea fell 2.6 percent month-on-month and rose 21.6 percent year-on-year to 28,608 units, according to data released by the Korea Automobile Importers and Distributors Association (KAIDA).

Meanwhile, for the whole of 2025, the number of new car registrations in South Korea increased by 16.7 percent year-on-year to 307,377 units.
