Production for the week ending January 10, 2026 increased by 2.8 percent compared to the previous week ending January 3, 2026, when production was 1.704 million net tons and capacity utilization was 74.4 percent.
For the week ended January 10, 2025, production amounted to 1,700 million net tons, and capacity utilization was 76.3 percent. Production this week represents an increase of 3.1 percent compared to the same period of the previous year.
Adjusted production from the beginning of the year to January 10, 2026 amounted to 2.482 million net tons with a capacity utilization rate of 75.3 percent. This is 2.6 percent more than 2.420 million net tons in the same period last year, when the capacity utilization rate was 76.3 percent.
