Arselormital launches a new spilling machine in Hamburg

Arselormittal yesterday launched a new steeling installation of a stellarship oven at a metallurgical plant in Hamburg. This was reported by the press service of the company.

The steel enterprise in Hamburg is today the fourth largest German manufacturer of reinforcement and Katanka.

The new steel-smelter installation, which cost Arselormital more than three and a half billion euros, should, according to the Director General of Long Carbon Europe Arno Upar Lafarzha, make a significant contribution to the improvement of the quality of the Katanka. The oven allows you to make the necessary alloying additives with great accuracy, which makes it possible to produce high-quality steel brands.

The increased quality of the material will make it possible to produce a cord for reinforcing automobile tires in the production of which constant problems have previously arose to reinforce car tires in Hamburg. In the new furnace, liquid steel is brought to condition at a constant melt temperature for about fifty minutes, issuing the most high -quality steel to the continuous casting machine.

According to the company's statement, Arselormital Hamburg is distinguished in that it has its own capacities generating more than 600 thousand tons of straight restoration iron (DRI) annually. The missile plant in Hamburg is also one of the leading in the world of steel -global production in the field of performance and energy efficiency.
