France's industrial output fell 1.1 percent month-on-month in June this year, following a one percent decline in May this year, according to statistics released by France's National Institute of Statistics and Economic Research (INSEE). In April-June, industrial production in France increased by 1.1% year-on-year and by 0.3% compared to the previous quarter.
In June, French manufacturing output, the production of base metals and finished metal products, excluding machinery and equipment, decreased by 0.4 percent month-on-month after falling 0.6 percent in the previous month.
On the other hand, in June, the production of cars, trailers and semi-trailers in France decreased by 0.4 percent year-on-year. Decreased by 2.6 percent month-on-month after a 3.6 percent month-on-month decline in the previous month, while the domestic construction industry contracted by 2.9% month-on-month in the current month after an increase of 1.2% in May compared with April. In April-June, the volume of production in the country's construction industry decreased by one percent compared to the previous quarter.
