Corinth Pipeworks, a Greek steel pipe manufacturer, has announced that it has obtained the right to supply linear pipes for the first phase of the Rovuma LNG project in Mozambique from Zone 4 partners led by ExxonMobil Moçambique, Limitada, acting as a delegated operator.
Under the contract, Corinth Pipeworks will manufacture approximately 250 km, or 120,000 tons, of linear submerged arc welded (LSAW) pipes for the project's offshore pipeline network.
The contract value is up to 250 million dollars. США
The diameter of the pipes will range from 20 to 24 inches, and the scope of supply also includes an anti-corrosion coating and a coating for weighing concrete. The contract value ranges from 200 to 250 million dollars. Production will be carried out at the facilities of Corinth Pipeworks in Viski, Greece. The pipes will be designed to meet the demanding operating conditions associated with the development of deepwater gas fields.
According to Corinth Pipeworks, the contract further expands the company's presence in the global offshore pipeline market and strengthens its role as a supplier for major energy infrastructure projects.
