NBS: In mid-September 2026, local rebar prices in China increased by 2.2%

In mid-September, from the 11th to the 20th, the average price of 20mm HRB 400E fittings in China increased by 52.4 yuan per ton, or $7.7 per ton, by 1.7% compared to the beginning of the month, from September 1 to September 10, and reached 3,182.7 yuan per ton, or $ 470 per ton, the National Bureau of Statistics of China reported.

During the same period, average prices for wire rod, medium-thickness sheet steel, hot-rolled roll (HRC), seamless steel pipes and corners increased respectively by 1,5%, 1,1%, 0,8%, 0,4% and 1.0% compared to the beginning of September.
