The Australian company Arrow Minerals Limited has applied for the first time for the construction of a new iron ore exploration facility in the Pilbara region of Western Australia, in close proximity to the Robe joint venture with Rio Tinto.
The new facility is adjacent to the Arrow building, the existing Minerals rental facilities in Yarralula, as well as the lease of the Rio Tinto Robe mining joint venture. According to Arrow, the area is located just 2 km from a large open-cast mine and is part of the Robe Valley Mesa mountain range, which has been a mining center operating since the early 1970s and currently producing between 20 and 23 million tons per year.
The estimated amount of land use will increase by 30 процентов
If the contract is awarded, the new residential complex will increase Arrow Minerals' prospective land holdings in the area by 30% to 415 square meters. км.
Arrow considers this residential complex promising for iron ore mining and reports that the area is possible., there is mineralization of iron ore deposits in the Russian Robe style. The company intends to actively explore the area after obtaining a work permit..
"Our team is well aware of the tonnage and cash flow potential of channel iron deposits such as those in this part of the Pilbara," says Arrow Managing Director David Flanagan. He said that such deposits can have a favorable geometry and a low level of impurities. Flanagan added that the company is considering the application as part of its efforts to establish a large iron ore mining business.
Arrow's planned exploration activities in the new area are still dependent on the provision of rent.
