The US Department of Commerce has preliminarily found that certain oil country tubular goods (OCTG) from Austria are being, or are likely to be, sold in the US at less than fair value. The investigation covers April 1, 2025, through March 31, 2026.
The department calculated a preliminary dumping margin of 47.21% for voestalpine Tubulars GmbH & Co. KG, the only producer and exporter examined individually. The same rate applies to all other Austrian suppliers.
At voestalpine’s request, Commerce postponed its final determination, which is due no later than 135 days after publication of the preliminary determination. The period for provisional measures has been extended from four months to up to six months.
In a separate countervailing duty investigation, Commerce preliminarily set a net subsidy rate of 10.17% for voestalpine in September.
