The production of metal rolling on Zaporizhstali has grown by 12 percent

In August 2013, OJSC Zaporozhstal (Ukraine, Zaporizhzhya Region) increased production by 6.1 percent, to 339 thousand tons, melting of cast iron - by 3.1 percent, up to 278 thousand tons and the production of finished rental - by 12.2 percent, to 296 thousand tons. The metallurgists Zaporizhstal set in August 232013 the next production record for 77 thousand 900 tons of thin profile, which is 26 percent more than in August 2012 (57 thousand 600 tons).

Another record was recorded in the sending of a metal distribution to customers by river transport: for August, 70 thousand 300 tons of steel were shipped for the Dnieper for a month, with an average monthly shipment during this year, 41 thousand tons of 800 tons.

In seven months since the beginning of 2013, the production of steel in an annual comparison increased by 1.9 percent, the production of metal rolling increased by 4.8 percent and the melting of cast iron remained at the level of last year.

OJSC Zaporizhzhya Metallurgical Plant of Zaporizhstal specializes in the production of steel hot and cold -rolled roll, hot -rolled and cold -rolled sheet with a thickness of 0.5–8.0 mm from carbon, low -alloy, alloy and stainless steels, bent profile, as well as steel tape and tin.

The main consumers of the plant’s products are manufacturers of welded pipes, enterprises of automobile, agricultural, transport engineering, car construction, manufacturers of household appliances. Almost 80 percent of the metal rolling of production is Zaporizhstali exported.
