According to the Turkish, the Association of Exporters became a share of these goods accounted for 73.9 percent of the total exports of the country in the first seven months of this year.
The Chairman of the Association, Nemik Ekinci, said that Turkish exporters have difficult times due to protective measures in trade and changes in the conjuncture of the world market. The Turkish steel sector is greatly affected by external conditions, in particular, the latest political incidents in the Middle East, which negatively affected export indicators to Egypt and Saudi Arabia.
The Middle East still receives the lion's share of exports of Turkey, which is 5.67 million tons. The European Union is located next to 1.92 million tons, while North Africa is the third largest importer with 1.36 million tons.
