The Alchevsk Metallurgical Plant in January - August 2013 increased the production of steel by 15 percent

In January - August 2013, the Alchevsk Metallurgical Plant of the ISD Corporation increased the production of steel compared with the 2012 by 15.2 percent, to 2 million 870 thousand tons. In the same period, the release of the finished rental grew by 17.5 percent, to 2 million 630 thousand tons, and the production of cast iron increased by 14.3 percent, to 2 million 630 thousand tons.

In August 2013, the Alchevsk Impressed Plant produced 354 thousand tons of metal rolling, 337 thousand tons of steel and 304 thousand tons of cast iron.

Recall that according to the results of 2012, PJSC “Alchevsk Metallurgical Plant” increased the smelting of steel by 2.5 percent, to 3 million 870 thousand tons, increased the production of cast iron by 3.4 percent, to 3 million 520 thousand tons, but reduced the production of metal rolling by 4.6 percent, to 3 million 470 thousand tons.

Currently, the Open Joint -Stock Company Alchevsk Metallurgical Plant is one of the largest enterprises in Ukraine, which continues to be updated and has 7 main workshops in its composition: agglomeration, domain, Martinovsky, compensatory, Tolstolystova No. 1, Tolstolistova No. 2, and sorceress.

The rolling production at the plant is represented by a powerful Box-Slyabining 1250, on which the ingots to slabs and bluamines roll with further transfer to thick-leafed camps 2250, 2800 and a large semi-intake camp 600.
