The Enakievsky Metallurgical Plant increased the production of steel by 1.2 percent

In January - August 2013, the Enakievsky Metallurgical Plant (EMZ) of the Metinvest group smelted 1 million 900 thousand tons of steel, which is 1.2 percent more than in the APPG -2012. During this period, the company increased the production of metal products by 2.3 percent, to 1 million 880 thousand tons and increased the production of cast iron by 3.1 percent to 1 million 700 thousand tons.

In August 2013, EMZ produced 245 thousand tons of metal rolling, 251 thousand tons of steel and 227 thousand tons of cast iron.

Recall that according to the results of 2012, the EMZ increased the production of steel by 2.3 percent, to 2 million 730 thousand tons, increased the production of finished rental by 4.3 percent, to 2 million 670 thousand tons and increased the cast iron by 5.2 percent, to 2 million 465 thousand tons.
