For eight months since the beginning of 2013, Ukrainian coal mining companies reduced the volume of black gold production to 54 million 600 thousand tons, which is 5 percent less than in the APPG-2012. This is stated in the message of the Trade Union of Coal Industry Workers.
In August alone, coal mining in Ukraine, according to operational data, decreased by 317 thousand 900 tons or 4.46 percent compared to the previous month. The total amount of angle raised in the mountain in August 2013 amounted to 6 million 800 thousand tons.
Compared to last August, coal mining in Ukraine decreased by 0.5 percent, or 37 thousand 300 tons.
Recall that in January-July 2013, 47 million 800 thousand tons of coal were obtained in Ukraine, which is 5.6 percent or 2 million 800 thousand tons less than in the APPG-2012.
In 2012, coal mining in Ukraine increased by 4.75 percent, or 3 million 890 thousand tons to 85 million 750 thousand tons, compared to 2011.
