In August 2013, the Krivorozhsky Metallurgical Plant Arselormittal Kryvoy Rog (AMKR) smelted 562 thousand 400 tons of steel, which is 1.5 percent higher than in August 2012. This was reported by the press service of the plant.
The production of metal rolling amounted to 488 thousand 400 tons in August, which is 1.6 percent lower than the APPG-2012 indicator, the publication of cast iron increased by 1.4 percent in August and amounted to 492 thousand 100 tons.
Over the eight months, the production of steel on the AMKR increased less than a half percent and amounted to 4 million 230 thousand 200 tons, the melting of cast iron decreased by half a percent, to 3 million 677 thousand 100 tons, and the release of the finished metal rolling increased by 2.8 percent, to 3 million 700 thousand tons. All compared to APPG-2012.
