The largest South Korean metallurgical company Posco has agreed to create a joint venture with one of the largest Chinese manufacturers of China Steel for the construction of a new metallurgical plant in the Chinese province of 3 million tons of steel a year.
Posco managers explain their decision to the desire to increase the sale of metal products on the territory of the largest consumer steel in the world, which compensates the companies for weak sales at home.
The shares in the new company Posco and China's Chongqing Iron & Steel Co are distributed equally. The new skills will produce sheet steel for the automotive industry of China. The latest Finex casting technology will be applied here, developed by Posco engineers specifically for the use of low -quality iron ores and brown (non -ornament) coal, the Posco statement said today.
The most modern and high -quality cable products , electrical and lighting electrical equipment will be used to lay electric networks. The supplier of these products will be declared at the construction stage.
Recall that Posco is conducting an unpleasant “war” with Indian citizens in Odisha, protesting against the construction of a metallurgical plant of the state polluting and air.
