According to the press service of one of the world's largest suppliers and manufacturers of Tenaris steel pipes, Forbes put it on the 81st rating of the 100 most innovative companies. Tenaris improved its result of 2011, when she took 92th place in the first published innovation rating.
"The company's ranking indicates the recognition of Tenaris potential to innovation not only from the point of view of products and services, but also from the point of view of the company’s business model, its organizational structure that allows customers to serve customers in the most effective way," says Marcel Ramos, director of new technologies of Tenaris.
"The rating shows that investors are ready to pay for companies much more than similar ones. Investors are related to future innovations (new products, services and sales markets) of such companies," the Forbes explanations say. In the ranking, only companies of whose level of capitalization exceeds 10 billion US dollars can participate in the ranking.
