Ukraine doubled the production and export of galvanizing

According to the chief specialist of the Black Metallurgy Department of the DP "Derzhazovnichinform" Roman Chigirinsky, Ukrainian metallurgical companies in four years increased the production and export of flat rental by 50 percent, reaching pre -crisis indicators and exceeding them. This is written today by the Russian IIS "Metal Subject and Sales."

Speaking at the 18th International Galvaning & Coating Conference conference in Munich from September 10 to 11, Roman Chigirinsky made a report “Flat Coating Hire. The prospects for the CIS markets ”and noted the growth of the production of flat rental in Ukraine over the past four years almost doubled.

The report states that back in 2009, Ukrainian metallurgical enterprises produced about 240 thousand tons of sheet steel with a coating, and in 2012 - 430 thousand tons, which corresponds to the pre -crisis -production level of production. Also in the report there was an increase in export supplies of flat rolling with coating for the period 2009-2012 by more than doubled, up to 173 thousand tons. At the same time, the pre -crisis export of sheet steel coated was 125 thousand tons in 2007.

The increase in the import of flat rental to Ukraine is, according to the DE Derzhazovnishinform DP, from 5 to 12 percent per year, mainly due to the growth of deliveries from China - by 27 percent.
