Arselormittal Krivoy Rog, owned by the largest metallurgical company in the ArcelorMittal world, announced the growth of sales to the territory of the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) for the first eight months of 2013 by one and a half times. At the same time, shipments to the domestic market of Ukraine increased by 8 percent.

According to the Deputy General Director for Marketing and Sales of ARCELORMITAL PJSC Krivoy Rog "Virinder Bahadura Garga, the metallurgical plant focused on the growth of metal distribution for the CIS and Ukraine markets.

"Recently, our sales volumes for the CIS have increased significantly, first of all, in Azerbaijan, Turkmenistan, Moldova, Belarus, Georgia and Armenia. In the first half of 2013, sales of our products in the CIS market increased by APPG-2012. For the same period, we have increased by 8 percent. We are currently unloading every month. 470-480 thousand tons of products, and the annual sales is 5 million 700 thousand tons, ”Mr. Garg said in an interview with Arselormital Kryvoy Rog Curve Rog.

It is known that from January to August 2013, Arselormital Krivoy Rog PJSC increased the production of metal rolling by 3 percent compared to APPG-2012, to 3 million 701 thousand tons, while throughout 2012 the company increased the production of metal products by 13.3 percent, to 5 million 592 thousand tons.
