Zaporizhstal continues to increase the production levels of metal products

In September 2013, the Metallozhstal Metallurgical Plant Group Metinvest continued to increase its production indicators. This was reported yesterday by the press service of the enterprise.

In particular, the production of metal rolling increased by 4.7 percent compared to APPG-2012 and amounted to 276 thousand 100 tons in September. The production of steel remained almost last year’s level - 326 thousand 200 tons, and the production of cast iron increased by 0.5 percent, to 270 thousand 700 tons.

For nine months since the beginning of 2013, the production of metal rolling has increased by 4.7 percent, to 2 million 441 thousand 400 tons, the production of steel by 1.6 percent, up to 2 million 873 thousand 100 tons and the production of cast iron remained at the level of last year - 2 million 402 thousand tons.

Zaporizhzhya metallurgists set a new production record in September 2013: 86 thousand 700 tons of cold -rolled steel. In addition, in September, Zaporizhstal reached a five -year maximum shipment of cold -rolled metal rolling - 82 thousand 100 tons.
