According to the press service of the South Mining and Processing Plant OJSC (Yugok, the Dnipropetrovsk region, the city of Krivoy Rog), the September production of an iron ore concentrate here increased by 11.5 percent, and the release of the agglomerate jumped 60 percent, to respectively 952 thousand tons and 208 thousand tons.
In January-September 2013, Yugok increased the production volume of concentrate compared to the same period in 2012 by 2.4 percentage, to 7 million 995 thousand 300 tons. The volume of production of agglomerate increased by 12.8 percent - up to 1 Mon 746 thousand tons.

Recall that in 2012, Yugok increased the production of iron ore concentrate compared to 2011 by 2.3 percent, to 10 million 386 thousand tons, and the production of agglomerate by 12.3 percent, up to 2 million 23 thousand tons.
South Mining and Processing Plant OJSC is one of the main manufacturers of iron ore raw materials-concentrate and agglomerate-in Ukraine. Currently, the main shareholders of Yugok OJSC are Smart-Holding CJSC and EVRAZ Group.
