According to the Donetsk Electrometallurgical Plant (DEMZ), recently acquired by the Russian businessman Vadim Varshavsky for 2000 euros from Mechel, the company completely resumed its production activities and, after launching the furnaces on September 23, managed to ship more than 10 thousand tons of steel square blank.
"The production program for October is formed," they say at DEMZ. The production of steel was resumed after half a year downtime. The metallurgical capacities of the enterprise are able to melt a million tons of steel per year.
