Optoelectronic equipment, armored vehicles are just some examples of military equipment that the Polish Arms Group (PGZ) can offer Ukraine. What can Ukrainian companies offer Poland in cooperation?
During the XXV International Exhibition of the Defense Industry, PGZ signed a cooperation agreement with the Ukrainian state-owned company Ukroboronprom, which was established in 2011 and is the largest Ukrainian arms holding, uniting more than 130 companies. The company employs about 80 thousand employees.
Ukroboronprom showed at the exhibition, among other things, anti-tank missile systems used by the Ukrainian army.
It should be recalled that in December 2016, an agreement on cooperation in the field of defense was signed between the presidents of Ukraine and Poland. It is planned to expand cooperation on military-industrial missile technologies.
In addition, within the framework of the exhibition, the Ukrainian side signed a number of large contracts for the supply of military equipment to Ukraine (including with WB Electronics and Lyubava). And also for the supply of miniature unmanned aerial vehicles "Warmate" for the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
"Warmate" are small unmanned aerial vehicles (with a weight of about 5 kg and a wingspan of 1.4 m) that are manufactured by WB Electronics and can carry several types of warheads developed by the Institute of Military Weapons Technology.
Another Ukrainian-Polish proposal, also involving WB Electronics and the Ukrainian state anti-missile system Ukroboronprom, is the PRC-01 "Daisy". It consists of two 80mm B8V20 unguided missile launchers with a TOPAZ fire control system mounted on a truck.
