In 2018, the forecast for global steel production exceeds the level of last year

В 2018 году прогноз мирового производства стали превышает уровень прошлого года
Global steel production in 2017 increased by 5.3 percent year-on-year to 1.69 billion tonnes in response to strong demand for rolled steel used for industrial production. The release of new products involves various stages of design from development of 3d-models, design documentation, technical processes, UE up to technical documentation for implementation in production. In the manufacture of metal structures, sheet metal is often used for bending and welding of sheet metal. But first, you need to create a blank, which is a flat pattern of sheet metal that allows you to get the desired part.

Preliminary estimates show that the 5.7 percent increase in production in China was fueled by increased production at the country's main factories after the closure of hundreds of induction furnaces. The release of these small objects has not previously been included in the official statistics. In the rest of the world, steel production increased by 4.9 percent over the previous year. The increase in production was a reflection of an improved global economic environment and a decline in Chinese steel exports. Most regions of the world have recorded sustained gains in steel production.

MEPS predicts that steel production in China will freeze in 2018 and reach the same level in 2017. Output in the rest of the world is expected to grow, albeit at a slower rate than in the previous year, by about 2.6 percent. Significant expansion is envisaged in India, Iran and Vietnam as a result of investment in steel facilities in these countries. The United States and the European Union are expected to see strong growth in production this year.

Global steel production is also expected to grow in 2019, followed by modest growth over the next two years. China is expected to account for 48 percent of global steel production by 2021 - just below the peak of 50 percent recorded in 2013. India is set to become the second largest producing country in the world, replacing Japan. It is expected that the positions from the fourth to the ninth will be received by large steel-producing countries - the United States, Russia, South Korea, Germany, Turkey, Brazil - will remain unchanged. Manufacturing profits in Iran should lead the country to become the tenth largest steel producing country by the beginning of the next decade.
