According to the press center of the largest private railway carrier LLC LemTrans, the volume of transportation for three quarters of 2012 increased by 30.67% compared with the same period of 2011. The total volume of transported goods amounted to 37 million 750 thousand tons.

The dominant growth was reached in coal transportation of 8 million 600 thousand tons or 66.7%. In total, Lemtrans transported 21 million 100 thousand tons of carbon products. The transportation of metal rolling to 3 million 120 thousand tons against 2 million 300 thousand tons in 2011 increased by one and a half times.

LLC LemTrans shows exclusively good development dynamics and a significant increase in cargo transportation. "Now, in the context of reducing industrial production, we consistently optimize the technologies for operating the wagon park and strengthen interaction with consignors," said the General Director of the company Vladimir Mezentsev.

Today, LemTrans, thanks to the infusion into the structure of Metinvest, has become the largest private transport and expedition company in Ukraine, which provides a full range of services on the railway.
