State concern Ukroboronprom introduced a financial recovery procedure at the Malyshev plant

According to the Ukroboronprom website, the armored "Malyshev Plant" will gain its former solvency and will fulfill its contract obligations due to the procedure for financial recovery and bankruptcy.

Transferred to the concern’s department in 2011, the Malyshev plant today is a defendant in the case No. 5023/10655/11 about the bankruptcy of the state enterprise "Malyshev", instituted by the economic court of the Kharkov region.

The bankruptcy procedure is opened with respect to the pride of Ukrainian engineering for the seventh time. But today's business in the State Condition of Ukroboronprom is regarded as a chance for financial recovery and restoration of solvency of the Malyshev plant.

According to the employees of the state concern, the bankruptcy procedure will benefit the Kharkov plant. At least the accrual of penalties and fines for overdue obligations in the context of the continuation of the production program will be suspended. Foreign economic contracts will be completed.

The plant was transferred to the public administration of the Ukroboronprom as a result of chronic loss -making and lack of strategic management of the previous leadership. The Malyshev plant is listed in the list of strategic objects prohibited for privatization for the economy and security of Ukraine.
