According to the metallurgical association "Metallurgprom", the production of metal rolling in Ukraine decreased by 8%. Since the beginning of the year, Ukrainian power plants produced 22 million 260 thousand tons of metal products, against 24 million 503 thousand tons last year.
The smelting became Ukrainian metallurgists by 7% to 27 million 143 thousand tons against 29 million 40 thousand in 2011. For the period from January to September 2012, in Ukraine, the production of hardware products lost 23% to the corresponding period last year.
The production of cast iron decreased slightly, by 1% to 23 million 740 thousand tons.
